Hollaia is inspired by the great Sangiovese dominant blends of Italy that flew against the face of their appelation system by introducing non-indigenous varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon to be blended with the traditional Sangiovese, and became known as Super-Tuscans.

The Hollaia delivers a palate thatbalances bright fruit characters of the varieties with a dusty, textural mouth feel. The immediate impression of plums, black olives and herbs is carried by a drying, chalky tannin profile.
